I’m bald and not ashamed — Charly Boy

Popular controversial musician and presenter ,Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa known by fans as Charley boy, is on the news again. Charly Boy as we all know, has been a head turner, starting from his outlandish outfits to his multiple piercings and tattoos, to his female alter ego, and has always been one person who is known to make a statement with his style. Recently, his pictures surfaced online without his dreadlocks, which everybody have come to know him with, as most of his fans were all shocked at his sudden new look .

The power-bike lover recently wrote an article on his website about his new look which he called “Bald Boldness” in which he revealed how he felt the moment he realised he was hairless saying “I was skeptical initially, afraid to look in the mirror after chopping off the locks but now, I feel confident, strong, beautiful, above all, powerful, more than ever before, ready to take on this new world with all that comes with it. I feel younger than I felt 35yrs ago. He then finished off by writing “I’m bald and not ashamed; my boldness is in your face, no hairs! I feel youthful again, beyond before, tastier, sweeter, more active, more potent, more loving and more giving. The Boy in The Charly has again come to life, one of fun and desire.”
